Profusion Halloween Makeup Contest

Official Rules and Guidelines

1. Eligibility:

• Who Can Enter:
  The contest is open to legal residents of United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
• Exclusions:
  Employees, contractors, officers, and directors of Profusion Cosmetics, its affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising/promotion agencies, along with their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) are not eligible to participate.
• Instagram and TikTok Accounts:
  Participants must have a public Instagram or TikTok account to enter the contest.

2. How to Enter:

1. Create a Halloween Makeup Look:
   Use any Profusion Cosmetics products to create a unique Halloween-inspired makeup look.
• You may use any Profusion products, including the new Gothic Beauty Collection, available starting September 25th at selected Walgreens stores and on ProfusionCosmetics.com.
2. Post Your Look on Instagram or TikTok:
• For Instagram:
• Use the hashtag #ProfusionHalloweenContest and tag @Profusion.
• Ensure your account is set to public so we can see your entry.
• For TikTok:
• Use the hashtag #ProfusionHalloweenContest and tag @ProfusionCosmetics.
3. Tag Your Products:
   Include in your post at least one Profusion Cosmetics product that you used to create your look.
4. Multiple Entries Allowed:
   Participants can enter as many unique Halloween looks as they wish throughout the contest period. Each new look counts as an additional entry.

3. Entry Requirements:

• Original Work:
  All entries must be the original work of the participant and cannot include content that has won a prize in any other contest.
• Profusion Products:
  The entry must feature at least one Profusion Cosmetics product. Use of non-Profusion products will result in disqualification.
• Follow and Tag:
  Participants must follow @Profusion on Instagram or @ProfusionCosmetics on TikTok and tag the correct handle in their post to be eligible.
• Public Account:
  Ensure your Instagram or TikTok account is public, or we won’t be able to see your entry.
• Multiple Entries:
  Each new, unique Halloween look qualifies as an additional entry, giving you more chances to win!

4. Contest Period:

• Start Date:
  The contest begins on September 20, 2024
• Submission Deadline:
  All entries must be posted by October 25th at 11:59 PM PST.
• Winners Announced:
  The winners will be announced on October 31st on Instagram and TikTok, as well as on ProfusionCosmetics.com.

5. Prizes:

• 1st Place: $150 Profusion Shopping Spree
• 2nd Place: $100 Profusion Shopping Spree
• 3rd Place: $75 Profusion Shopping Spree

6. Judging Criteria:

• Creativity:
  How unique, imaginative, and inventive is your Halloween makeup look?
• Originality:
  Is your look distinctive, fresh, and different from typical Halloween styles?
• Execution:
  How well is your look executed in terms of technique and makeup application?
• Use of Profusion Products:
  Effective and creative use of Profusion Cosmetics products will be considered during judging.

All eligible entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges chosen by Profusion Cosmetics. The decision of the judges is final.

7. Winner Notification:

• How Winners Will Be Contacted:
  Winners will be notified via Instagram direct message or TikTok message by October 31st.
• Response Time:
  Winners must respond to the message within 48 hours to claim their prize. If no response is received within 48 hours, an alternate winner will be selected.

8. General Conditions:

• By Entering the Contest:
  Participants agree to have their photos or videos featured on Profusion’s social media accounts, website, and any promotional material related to the contest.
• Profusion Products Only:
  Use of non-Profusion products in your entry will result in disqualification.
• No Offensive Content:
  Entries must not contain any offensive, inappropriate, or illegal content. Profusion reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not adhere to these guidelines.
• Disqualification:
  Participants who do not tag @Profusion on Instagram or @ProfusionCosmetics on TikTok or use the hashtag #ProfusionHalloweenContest will be disqualified.

9. Privacy:

Personal information collected from participants will be used only for the purpose of administering this contest and in accordance with Profusion’s privacy policy.

10. Limitation of Liability:

By entering the contest, participants agree to release Profusion Cosmetics from any liability that may arise from participation in the contest or the acceptance of any prizes.

11. Modifications and Termination:

Profusion Cosmetics reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest at any time if unforeseen technical issues arise or for any other reason that affects the fairness of the contest.

12. Governing Law:

All issues concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these rules shall be governed by the laws of United States.

By participating in the contest, entrants fully and unconditionally agree to abide by these official rules and the decisions of the judges.
